    Pythagorean (Western) numerology

    Numerology

The numbers carried by your name and birth date.

Pythagorean numerology gives each letter a value from 1 to 9 and reduces your birth date and name to core numbers, keeping the master numbers 11, 22 and 33. Each number is read as a symbolic theme, such as your Life Path or Expression. Other numerology traditions use different methods and can give different numbers.

Human Design (Ra Uru Hu, 1987)

    Human Design

A bodygraph built from two moments in time.

Human Design is a modern synthesis that combines astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah and the chakra system. It calculates planetary positions at birth and about 88 days before, then maps them onto a bodygraph. It's a self-reflection framework, not an established science.

    Natal Chart

The map of the sky at the moment you arrived.

A natal chart records where the Sun, Moon and planets were, seen from your birthplace, at your birth. Astrologers read it as a symbolic portrait of temperament and themes — a framework for reflection, not a scientific measurement. You can view it in Tropical, Sidereal (Lahiri) or Constellational 13-Sign.

    Destiny Matrix

    Ladini-style 22 Arcana · Digit-Sum Method

Your birth date, read through the 22 Major Arcana.

Destiny Matrix is a modern method, credited to Natalia Ladini, that turns the numbers of your birth date into values from 1 to 22, each linked to a Major Arcana card. Several variants exist; we use digit-sum reduction and show only the five positions sources agree on. Some schools use subtract-22 reduction and can give different results.

    BaZi

Four pillars of destiny, written in stems and branches.

BaZi (八字, "eight characters") describes your birth year, month, day and hour as four pillars, each made of a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch. It reads the balance of the five elements around your Day Master. It uses the Chinese solar calendar, so it isn't the same as Western astrology.

    Purple Star

Stars arranged across twelve palaces of life.

Purple Star Astrology (紫微斗數, Zi Wei Dou Shu) places a set of named stars into twelve palaces, each representing an area of life such as career or relationships. It's built on the Chinese lunar calendar and is distinct from both BaZi and Western astrology.

    Patterns / Configurations

    Arabic Parts / Lots

    Calculated points from ancient astrology.

Lots (also called Arabic Parts) are points calculated from the distance between two chart factors, added to the Ascendant. The Lot of Fortune and Lot of Spirit are the best known. They depend on the Ascendant, so an exact birth time matters.

    Composite
