This page explains how The Star Sign uses cookies and similar technologies.
1 · What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — like the fact that you're signed in.
2 · What we use
We use a minimal set of essential cookies, required for the Service to function. These cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in.
- Session & authentication — set by our backend (Lovable Cloud) to keep you signed in and protect your session.
- Security — to prevent CSRF and similar attacks.
We don't currently use advertising or tracking cookies. We don't sell cookie data. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we'll update this page and ask for consent where required.
3 · Third-party cookies
- Stripe — during checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies for fraud prevention, session handling, and to comply with payments regulations. See Stripe's cookie settings and privacy policy.
- Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google", Google may set cookies on its own sign-in pages. See Google's cookie policy.
4 · Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you choose to block third-party cookies, clear cookies on exit, or block specific sites. Note: blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.
5 · Changes to this policy
If our cookie usage changes — for example, if we add analytics — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
