Tarot of the Day · 2026-10-16
One card. One day.
Your card for Friday, October 16, 2026. It stays the same all day — come back tonight and see where it showed up.
Card 16 of the Major Arcana
The Tower
sudden change · revelation · awakening · upheaval · breaking
A card of sudden revelation. It traditionally reflects structures built on shaky ground giving way — disruptive, but clearing the air for something truer.
Symbols & themes
A tower struck by lightning, figures falling, crown tumbling — a structure built on shaky ground giving way.
Upright themes
Sudden change, revelation, disruption that clears the air.
How it may show up today
A plan wobbling, an assumption cracking — uncomfortable, and often the first honest thing to happen all week.
A question for the day
What shook recently that I can now see more clearly because of it?
Working with it today
- Read the meaning once, then put it down — the practice is noticing, not memorising.
- When something today matches one of the card's keywords (sudden change, revelation, awakening), pause on it.
- Tonight, ask: did the day rhyme with the card? That reflection is the whole exercise.
This card stays with you until midnight your local time. Come back this evening and compare — tomorrow a new card becomes available.
