These terms govern your use of The Star Sign (the "Service"), available at thestarsign.com. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1 · The Service
The Star Sign offers astrology, divination, and self-reflection tools — natal charts, transits, astrocartography, numerology, Human Design, BaZi, Purple Star, and related calculations. The Service is provided for personal insight, exploration, and entertainment.
It is not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Don't use it as a substitute for professional guidance.
2 · Accounts
You need an account to use most features. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
3 · Subscriptions
The Star Sign offers paid subscriptions on a monthly or annual basis. Plan details and current pricing are shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- No free trials are offered.
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
- When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate.
4 · Payments, taxes & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. The Star Sign does not see or store your card details.
Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) are calculated and shown at checkout based on your billing location.
Refunds are not offered except where required by applicable law (for example, certain consumer-protection rights in the EU/UK). If you believe you're entitled to a refund, contact us at info@thestarsign.com.
5 · Pricing changes
We may change subscription prices. If we do, we'll notify you by email before the change takes effect on your next billing cycle, so you can cancel if you don't want to continue at the new price.
6 · Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.
- Use the Service to harm, harass, or deceive others.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
- Upload unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights.
7 · Your content
You keep ownership of the data you enter (birth details, notes, saved charts). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you.
8 · Our content
The Service — its software, design, text, and visual identity — belongs to The Star Sign and is protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your account is active.
9 · Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is", for entertainment and reflection. Astrological, numerological, and divinatory interpretations are traditional symbolic systems — not science, prediction, or advice. Don't make medical, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions based on what you read here. Consult qualified professionals for those.
10 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Star Sign is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11 · Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If your account ends, your access ends — see Section 3 for what happens to a paid subscription.
12 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
13 · Governing law
These terms are governed by general principles of contract law applicable to online services. Disputes should first be raised with us at info@thestarsign.com — we'll try to resolve things quickly and fairly.
